The Kenmore Range has two highpower rifle ranges, one for the exclusive use of the qualified members, and one for general member and public shooter use. The rifle ranges are open 362 days a year for both member and public use. With two separate ranges we can hold various matches and events and still have open shooting available.   Range #1 - Members Only Range 1 is an all weather, fully safetied 300 meter highpower range with concrete shooting benches and a forward position shooting platform. The range is divided into three bays with bullet-proof dividers between. The benches were designed and built by our benchrest shooters and are substantial. We have target positions from 100 yards out to 300 meters to suit all manner of shooting. Restricted to qualified members and matches.   Range #2 - Public Range Our public rifle range is an all-weather, fully safetied  twenty firing point, 200 yard range, however during public shooting hours the maximum range allowed is 100 yards. This range is controlled by a professional rangemaster who observes the activity from an adjacent range office and runs the ceasefires. This is a very busy range during the hunting sight-in season. Public shooting fee: $11.00 per shooter, eye and ear protection, and chamber flags required. This range has spotting scopes, rifle rests, sand bags and bore-sighting is provided free.   Smallbore Indoor The indoor range is a 50 foot 11 point range for .22LR. Indoor range is reserved for events only. Smallbore and air gun training, matches and leagues are held each year. Navy ROTC Northwest smallbore rifle match is pictured.   Youth Rifle Program We have an active youth rifle program. The kids work on the NRA Junior Olympic 4-position qualifications and travel to several local matches. The program has rifles, scopes, stands, mats, and ammo, and many coaches. They meet every Friday evening during the school year.  Pro Shop We carry a complete selection of ammunition at more than competitive prices to keep our shooters shooting...including one of the most complete selections of .22LR anywhere. We have bullets, cleaning supplies, shooting accessories and a special order department for members which can get just about anything available. We only stock and sell those items that perform for our members....and we get immediate feedback.
