Youth Rifle |
| Our youth rifle program runs the school year, starting about mid September until April.
We instruct 4-position small-bore rilfe (.22LR) and the children work their way through the NRA qualifications
(Marksman, Sharpshooter, etc.). The program provides all equipment necessary to start, including rifles, ammunition,
and targets. The group shoots indoor on every Friday evening from 7 to 9 PM on our clubhouse 50 foot range. Cost is $60 per program year to keep ammunition locker stocked. We stress safety and require a Hunter Education class certificate or an NRA Home Firearm Safety class certificate prior to enrolling in the program. Stop in on a Friday evening to view the program and to sign up. We do expect parent participation in this program....i.e. this is not a babysitting service. |
